Visits welcome at our home Book a visit

We never send a puppy in an aircraft hold. French Bulldogs are brachycephalic, and a pressurised hold with variable temperature and no supervision is genuinely dangerous for a snub-nosed dog. Airlines restrict or refuse the breed in cargo for exactly this reason. Within mainland Spain your puppy travels by road, in a climate-controlled vehicle, with a person responsible for it the whole way.

Your options

Collect in person

Come and collect your puppy from us. You meet the puppy, we hand over the paperwork face to face, and there is no transport stress at all. This is our preferred option wherever it is practical, and most families choose it.

No charge

Road transport

A climate-controlled vehicle with regular breaks, run by a carrier holding the authorisation for transporting live animals required by Regulation (EC) 1/2005, and a certificate of competence. This covers the whole peninsula.

Quoted by distance

Islands and outside the peninsula

For the Balearics, the Canaries, Ceuta and Melilla, ask us first. The movement requirements differ, the Canaries in particular have their own, and we will only arrange travel where the puppy can be accompanied in the cabin.

How delivery works

  1. Tell us where you are

Once your puppy is reserved, send us your province and town and we will price the options.

  2. We arrange the logistics

We book the authorised carrier, make sure the veterinary certificate, cartilla and microchip registration are all in order, and coordinate the date against your puppy's available-from date.

  3. You get the details

The estimated arrival time, the handover point and the driver's contact details, at least 48 hours ahead.

  4. Meet your puppy

Bring ID matching the booking. You will be handed the puppy, the carrier and the full records folder.

Timing

Each puppy has its own available-from date, listed on its card. We will not release a puppy before eight weeks of age under any circumstances, regardless of how the travel schedule works out — quite apart from it being the right thing for the animal, Ley 7/2023 prohibits it.

Summer travel gets extra scrutiny for this breed. Across most of Spain that means travelling early in the morning or overnight in July and August, and we will move a date rather than put a brachycephalic puppy in a vehicle through the middle of a hot afternoon.

Visiting policy

We welcome in-person visits from families who have reserved a puppy, by appointment. We ask that you have not been in contact with unknown dogs that day, and that you use the hand sanitiser we will offer at the door.

This is not us being precious. Young puppies are not fully vaccinated, and parvovirus is durable, environmental, and carried in on shoes and hands. Before a litter is reserved we are very happy to do video calls instead — as many as you would like.

Common questions

Do you deliver outside Spain?
No. We sell and deliver within Spain only.
Can I collect the puppy myself from anywhere in Spain?
Yes, and most families do. It is the least stressful option for the puppy and it lets you see where they were raised.
What is the puppy travelling in?
A ventilated carrier with an absorbent pad, water, and a piece of bedding that smells of their littermates.
What if the journey is delayed?
The driver stays with your puppy until you are physically there. You will have their direct number throughout.

Delivery is quoted per route and paid in addition to the puppy price. Contact us at info@flaviafrenchies.com +34 699 863 575 for a quote to your location.
