Who is responsible for your data

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis
We only collect what you type into a form or send us directly. There is no account, no profile and no database of visitors.

How the forms on this site work
The enquiry form and the video request each do two things when you submit them. They assemble a message and hand it to your own email application — you see it, and you send it, from your own address. At the same time they send a copy of what you typed to our inbox, so that your enquiry still reaches us if your device has no email application set up. Without that copy, a visitor in that position would press submit and nothing would happen.
The copy is delivered by our own web host to our own inbox and is not passed through any third-party form service. There is no database and no account for you on this site — your information lives in our inbox and nowhere else. The newsletter signup in the footer is the exception: it only opens your email application and sends nothing on its own.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Two categories of third party are unavoidable. Our web hosting provider processes the data on our instructions as a processor. And if you accept advertising cookies, Google acts as an independent controller for the data those cookies generate; that may involve a transfer to the United States, which Google carries out under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. If you decline the cookies, no such transfer happens.
Several buttons on this site open WhatsApp with a message ready to send. If you choose to write to us that way, the conversation happens on WhatsApp and Meta processes it under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours — we receive the message in the same way any WhatsApp contact would. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and every one of those buttons has an email and telephone alternative on the contact page.
We will also disclose information where a law or a court requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase: up to two years from your last message, so that we can pick up a conversation you may return to.
Records relating to an actual sale: for as long as the contract and our obligations as a registered breeder require, and in any case for the periods Spanish commercial and tax law sets.
Litter announcement list: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without that affecting anything done beforehand.
To exercise any of them, write to info@flaviafrenchies.com. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), which is the supervisory authority for Spain. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the inbox that receives your messages is access-controlled. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and we do not pretend otherwise, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the small amount of data involved.
Children
This site is not directed at children. Under article 7 of the LOPDGDD, children under 14 cannot consent to the processing of their data without a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14, and a dog cannot be sold to a minor in any case.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you have seen the current version.
